I have a Keyword Wishlist for "Sports/Baseball & Cardinals" in my HR10-250.

So far this year, it has only "identified" one or two games! It is the same Wishlist from last year, when it worked perfectly!

And yes, I do have all the MLB Extra Innings Channels established in the "Channels I Receive" section, so that is not the problem.

It successfully identifies all the Cards games on FSMW and ESPN, etc, but not MLB Extra Innings.

I just printed the MLB schedule from the D* website, but the HR10-250 is not finding any of them.

Any ideas??????

It sounds like a problem with your guide meta-data, not with the Wishlist. Try adding another wishlist with the actual names that show up in the Guide.

Do you get other games that you do not want to record and only want cards games?

I can't think of any other way to create the subject Wishlist, since one day it may be "Cardinals at Astros", and the next day "Mets at Cardinals".

What is even more peculiar is this: One day it worked fine- the Wishlist succesfully pulled up 5 future Cards games on MLB Extra Innings. I sucessfully selected those 5 games to record and they appeared on my "To Do" list. The next day I re-ran the wishlist and those games appeared again (with a checkmark) in the Search Results , just like they are supposed to.

The next day I re-ran the wishlist again, and it did not pick up the MLB games. But they were still in the "To Do" LIst! Weird.

To answer your last question, I've never picked up games I DIDN"T want.

Might have a way to make this work:

Create a Title Wishlist -> *TEAM_NAME* & Show Types/Event

Then take all the sports pkg/600 channels out of your 'Channels I Receive.'

This looks like it will work as long as you can handle the 6-hour recording (which I can't).

MLB/EI lists games as "Event" but not "Live." Not including "Sports" keeps out any non-games. Taking out the 600 channels will minimize double-duty. You could still get some with ESPN 1&2 being left in, but that's rare enough. For the most part, it's set it & forget it.

Looking at my Wishlist I see only, and all, my team's games. Now if someone would like to loan me a 20' ladder to run a 2nd line down from my roof, that would be just great...

This is an issue I've had with Tivo ever since I got it. We need a Sports team season pass that allows for channel priority.... not holding my breath.
