For the second week in a row, my HDTivo has reset in the middle of a recording coming in over the antenna. Last week it was Invasion, this week it was Lost. Each time I've lost 10 minutes of the show while the Tivo rebooted. Sequence of events go as follows:

Wife and I are watching something previously recorded, letting the Tivo do its thing and grab tv shows.
We finish watching recorded show, I flip to live tv to see what's going on (Hockey in this case).
I switch tuners to the one recording OTA. The picture changes and is playing, but I notice that the channel banner hasn't changed and the Tivo seems unresponsive. This lasts a few seconds.
I get the "Welcome. Powering up." screen.
I lose 10 minutes of one of the most amazing shows on television.

This has happened before, each time with an OTA recording. The reboots had been fairly few and far between previously and easy to ignore. Any clue as to what I can do to stop this?

Have you checked the TiVo's temperature (Messages and Setup > System Information)? If you have the unit in some sort of cabinet, there may not be anywhere for the hot air to go (in effect, an oven). I had to cut a hole in the back of my entertainment center and mount a large fan there just for that reason.

Same here but at 9:00 EDT. We were watching an episode of Road Trip from Now Playing and I noticed at 9:00 the red light wasn't on. Tried to go to Live TV and got caught in reboot he11.

Both OTA recordings of American Idol and Lost got interupted. Once the reboot completed I went to Idol on Live TV and tried to record. Couldn't get it to go at first. Then all of a sudden it started recording, along with Lost.

This could be marking the start of more problems to come with my HR10-250. It's 15 months old now. I've been able to live with the slowness but reboots are happening more frequently although this is the first time we've lost recordings. Late in April I had a AC short in the room. Had to replace a power outlet and the DVR seemed fine. Then after a month, I start getting messages to make a daily call. Calls are failing. Then two days ago calls started completing. And I changed nothing.

A couple months back my HDMI bit it after over a year of working fine. Looks like this could be the last few months.

Hope those reboots stop for you CJE2000.
