Almost any FTP program will let you view a file.

I think TWP will let you view a log file, not sure what other text files you'll need to read.

For my purpose, I have a lot of guitar music (txt files) that I would bring up on screen so that i could sit on my couch playing songs I don't know while looking at the music.

You can send them as messages in TWP.

Someone might be able to do something in tcl with the OSC command.
