I'm pretty sure you noticed that I am kind of new to all this DVR goodness.
So here it goes.
What will I need, and have to do to connect to my DVR40 box from an outside PC to record shows?
I read quite a few of the posts here and the seem to somewhat make sense.
This is what I have so far: Use a IP address to get to the from anywhere.
But how do I do all of this is there a somewhat step by step guide to this? I just want to connect to my DVR40 to record shows from a totaly remote PC.
