Adding channel logos on 4.01 DTivo

I've had my 2 DTivos on 4.01b for a while and haven't had any logos besides NBC. Is there a way to add all the channel logos. I'd rather not run the whole enhancement script since I already have many hacks running well and I don't want to mess them up. Also, I don't want to upgrade to 6.2, at least not yet. Is there any way to just add a logos file to my tivo or something like that?

Yeah. I'm probably not allowed to tell you where, but it's possible to find a logo slice for 4.01b. You'd have to ftp it over to the DTivo, put it in /var/packages and dbload it. I did it once myself.

I'm curious though...why are you holding off on the 6.2 upgrade? It's less of a kludge than 4.01b is, and it's faster, and just overall nicer. :)

I might do it this summer (once all my shows are gone from the Tivo) since my Tivo seems to be rebooting a lot. I'm from the mindset of once something is working well (and it took me long enough) try not to mess it up. My 2 Dtivos are all working well with 4.01b. My 4 year old likes the Tivo-0 animation, I have MRV working fine, endpadplus TivowebPlus, music and pictures, and the stuff we can't talk about. I'm not sure I want to mess around with it. I might just upgrade one of them with a new drive this summer and if everything works out well, I'll do the other.
