Here is my setup:

TiVo Series2 box with a Linksys(?) wireless USB 802.11b
Orinoco Broadband Gateway 2000 wireless 802.11b router
Motorola cable modem with Comcast
Vonage Linksys RTP300 router

Signal path is as follows:
cable modem -> Linksys router -> wirelss router
-> desktop

My TiVo can access the internet for updates as well as the other features (Yahoo, games, etc.)

Since installing the Vonage, the Tivo Desktop does not work. Before, the signal path was:
cable modem -> wireless router -> desktop

Ideas? what should I be looking for in terms of ip addresses and settings? Anyone else have this setup that works?

Thanks
Dave

My guess. One of the two routers is not passing Multicast traffic. I believe you'll need to have multicast for the TiVo broadcast app on your PC to find the TiVos.

You'll notice you never actually specify the IP address of your Tivo(s) in your Desktop config. So the whole setup relies on multicast broadcast traffic.

See this doucment for a list of ports which must be open on your local PC and any internal firewalls for TTG to work properly...
