Tivo upgrade questions!

Ok, I've been digging through these forums, but I still have a few questions for you guys about updrading my tivo. I was hoping to be able to transfer my lifetime service to a series 3; but, unfortunately, that isn't happening:) I have an 80 hour series 2 tivo.

1. Updrading the hard drive- do I have to use one of the tivo upgrade kits out there?

2. Can somebody send me a link to the exact specifications of the tivo hard drive? Is it just a normal computer hard drive? If so could I just go to Best Buy and buy a new one?

2. All the talk about dual tuners....is there any way to put a second tuner in a series 2 tivo? Maybe an external tuner that I can connect?

3. I know this one is a shot in the dark- is there any way to make the series 2 high definition capable?
