I had a HR10-250 with a bad HDMI port and since I have the "insurance" program from DirecTV I had them send me a new one. My HR10 is upgraded with 2 drives. I had this problem with an HDMI port before and just swapped the hard drives (mine) with theirs and called in and had my old access card used on the new receiver. No problems. This time I am getting an error #51 when trying to access my recorded programs it says I can't record any new programs or watch any recorded programs and it is telling me to restart (which I've done many times) or call Directv for help. The only difference this time is that I've zippered these drives. Would that make a difference? I can't imagine why it would since I am just completely transferring both of my old drives into the new box. I don't know if I should call DirecTV because then I will have to eplain myself as to what I've done.
Someone please help!! Please tell me I haven't lost the 60 hrs of HD recordings!!
Thanks!!!

Can someone explain to me what that is? I had someone else zipper my drives so I am not real savvy to that part. Is that the only way to fix this? Are my recordings still entact?
Thanks again.

I've never used zipper, but there's a common script called 51killer.tcl. If zipper installs AlphaWolf's all-in-one tools, then it's on your Tivo.
Telnet to the IP address of your Tivo. Type "find / | grep 51killer" and hit enter -- this should tell you where the script is. Change to that directory and type "./51killer.tcl" and hit enter.
Note that if your recordings are encrypted, you won't be able to view them. I don't know if zipper turns off encryption -- Gunny?

Better yet have whoever zippered it for you fix it. And yes, the zipper installs hacks that disable encryption.
