mfsrestore dsr704 to dsr7000

I already have a configured (hacked) dsr704 and recently bought a stock dsr7000. Will it work if I do an mfsrestore from the dsr704 backup to the dsr7000?

Well it looks like it doesn't. I made a backup of the DSR704 image, restored it to another drive and put that drive in the DSR7000. Gets to "almost there" then reboots. I thought maybe the backup didn't do a good restore, but the re-imaged drive works when I put it in the DSR704. The original drive in the DSR704 won't boot in the DSR7000 either.

Does the original DSR7000 drive still work fine? Just wondering if something else is wrong with the DSR7000.

Yeah it works. I have another DSR7000 as well and tried it with it also, no luck.
