Following Hinsdale Step 10B, I am using mfstools 2.0 and trying to backup 2 tivo drives to 2 new drives, and booting from a floppy; all drives are recognized ok. The new drives are both Seagate ST3400832A's. Upon entering the following command:
mfsbackup -aqo - /dev/hdc /dev/hdd | mfsrestore -xpi - /dev/hda /dev/hdb
as directed by Step 10B, I get the following msg.
mfsvol_read_data: Invalid argument mfsbackup:
Backup failed to startup.
Restore failed: -Sucess.
Also have have received a msg. saying,
mfsbackup not found
I have been thru this a dozen times, including creating new bootable floppies to no avail. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
