Hughes SD-DVR 40 died: Weakness hd replacement.. easy peasy?

Looks like my Hughes DVR40 is dead.. started stuttering bad for awhile then rebooted to see if that fixed it and instead it won't boot. I assume the hard drive is bad.

I was going to purchase a 80 gig drive from Weakness with software loaded to replace it. I assume it's fairly easy to do with good instructions etc? Just unplug and plug in and boot and good to go?
