Episode was a little boring but helped move the storyline along alot. After seeing Lois naked I wouldnt be thinking about Lana anymore thats for sure.

Hmm thought it was an ok show. I definately enjoyed it but it had it's lame parts..
It annoys the hell out of me everytime he breaks up with Lana and then gets upset because she's with someone else.
I actually liked how they showed how morally strong clark is and how we got the first glimpse of him doing super hero work in metropolis.

Lois is wearing too much makeup lately. I never thought I'd say this, but some scenes, she is just not attractive because of this.

I shall pretend you never said that....never do it again. :)

This show used to be so good. Now it's just boring. I'm very dissapointed.

This episode really showed me how good and bad acting and make or break a show. I know this show isn't known for it's stellar cast by any means, and I don't watch it for that. But the terrible acting is really killing the show for me. Episodes of Veronica Mars aren't always great. Sometimes they get stuck in the incredibly over-detailed plot. But the acting on that show is top notch, so I'm still drawn in. Smallville is the anti-VM.
The incredibly cliché writing isn't helping either. When Lana says "But what's so special about Smallville, Lex?", I started 30 second skipping through every Lana/Lex scene. It made the episode a little better.
The camera direction at the end was really strange as well. What was with all the awkward close-ups?
I'm not usually this down on a show, but the past 5 or 6 episodes of Smallville have been really tough for me to watch. I'd never say "end it now" like so many other people here, but I do want them to fix what's wrong, so I can get back into a show that I've really enjoyed in the past.

Even naked showering Lois couldn't save this. How many times have we had to watch Clark save Lana and not be able to take credit? Holy crap the writers magic eight ball came up strangle Lex instead of shoot him. How many people has Lex killed in self defense now? Lucky none of the bullets that he missed with didn't go through the walls and hit someone in another room. Oh and Lex's security really really sucks. How long until this show collapses into a black hole under the crushing weight of its own suck?

Why the heck would Fawkes make him self visible while killing Lex? Dumb

He was mortally wounded. Probably didn't have much control over it.

Not when he was choking him.

Man, I thought the Clark/Lana scenes were bad but the Lex/Lana scenes are even worse.
Except for Clark saving the guy in Metropolis and his affirming his moral code, it was a borefest.
Although, why is Lex now working with Fine?

So Lana could see him. Duh. ;)

BTW, I realize that Lana isn't exactly the brightest bulb around (to put it mildly) but does anyone find it remotely believable that she would just jump into Lex's arms?

Fawkes just snapped the guy's neck in the courthouse, but he decided to choke Lex nice and slowly.
How convenient.

I almost lost it when I heard that. HELLO? He's invisible. He could be anywhere!! Good grief, Trix are for kids...
Doesn't Supes have infared? I would have thought that instead of using Super-Hearing, he could see him. I mean, if Lex could shoot him while he was invisible...

When Chloe scrunched her face after Clark's line, I thought she might've realized what Clark just said, but nope, she moved onto something else less troubling instead. ;)

I actually thought they might have inserted that scene for the folks who were complaining (I'm in this group) about Clark and Chloe constantly walking through the Daily Planet newsroom, talking openly about his "secret" in full voice where anyone could hear. (I mean, Clark is going to be working here in a few years -- some of these folks might remember the kid who kept talking about his 'super powers'...) But I doubt they will stop, even now.

I thought it was a stretch to have the guy pull out a "meteor rock". Seemed lame to me.

Bad guys always have to de-cloak to fire weapons.

Doesn't Supes have infrared? I would have thought that instead of using Super-Hearing, he could see him. I mean, if Lex could shoot him while he was invisible...
Maybe not infrared, but he does have x-ray, he should have been able to see his bones, etc at least.
To be fair lex wasn't really shooting "him" he was just shooting around in an otherwise empty room, Clark was chasing him through the talon, that's a little different.

Yes, but he has to make a conscious effort to use his X-Ray vision. It just didn't occur to him to use it.

I would have stopped the guy, but kept the television. Hey,a gift is a gift.
Lois says something about him taking her on a "simple date". The guy is flying her to a show in Chicago from Smallville Kansas. THIS she thinks of as a simple date? What to her then is an extravagant date?
At one point, Chloe had on the most hideous outfit she has ever worn on the show. Their wardrobe department is just not doing it for me anymore.

I liked Lois' wardrobe in the shower. ;)
