That was the best line of the episode...

There were a couple of Pulp Fiction references, including the three of them choking each other. And the bowling scenes reminded me of the Big Lebowski, but I don't know if that was the intention or not...

Ahh, didn't think about that.

What made me think of the Lord of the Rings was the finding the badge in the river in the beginning and Rodney acting very Gollum-like at the end.

Also the music they kept playing during those scenes were very reminiscent of Lord of the Rings.
