Most comedy shows have a hard time of matching the level of comedy a good CSI episode has; and this was a really good CSI episode.

I especially enjoyed Greg's B&W(&red) recollection... nice touch.

Serious American Beauty/Six Feet Under vibe running through the episode. I didn't notice, but did Alan Ball have anything to do with this one?

Loved Greg's film noir interpretation, and Grissom's focusing not on the rose but on the ladybug on the rose.

Wow, first CSI NY, now Vegas, all in one week. Both were great this week. I"m afraid to watch CSI Miami from this week, you just KNOW it was cheesy. :D And the chick from Veronica Mars is on Big Love and now appeared on CSI Vegas. She's all over the place. Look like she's a coming up actress.

I agree, both CSI:NY and CSI Vegas were much better this week then Miami.

CSI Miami is still on?

Loved the different views in this well done comic episode. Classic Gris.

CSI Miami is still on?
And not going anywhere for a long time; it's the #1 ranked US series worldwide.

This was a great episode. Apparantly CSI LV doesn't need collected evidence to solve a case :)

One thing that's apparent is that if you are planning to do something illegal and do a reasonable job covering your bases, never say more than you have to; never believe any cop or law enforcement person who claims to have any evidence or witness -- always behave and communicate as if that's just a lie/setup/untrue.

So many of these people would never be convicted except for the confession they're coerced into making. Amateurs. ;)

Kinda like Cold Case, where apparently all the criminals have been dying to tell everything  I don't remember they ever actually coming up with any hard evidence. It's all confessions.

Yeah, but it's usually confessions gotten after/because they've figured it out. And one of the underlying foundations of this show is that people who get away with crimes have it gnaw away at them.

Personally, when I get away with a crime, it makes me very happy.

Not that they ever proved it was me.

Or even found the bodies...

I stopped watching CSI NY because it was so dry -- they would just stand over a dead body and crack a joke. No mystery, no spookiness, no drama. I guess I'll try it again.

Never noticed; once he finally got rid of that moustache, I really don't mind what he does with his hair. That moustache was awful.

I kinda like Greg's hair though... going off in all directions... :)

But we're talking about CSI:LV ...

I liked the episode, but I thought the Rashomon (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042876/) angle was a little tedious. It didn't really contain any different/conflicting viewpoints that they had to untangle to find out which one was true.

Two posts before mine about CSI NY and CSI Miami.

Speaking of which, I finally watched this week's CSI NY (after ditching the show for a couple months) and was hoping "Stella" died. She might be my least favorite character of all.

I'm glad they added humor to this episode as opposed to recent batch of episodes. Definitly made it enjoyable.

I enjoyed this episode tremendously. There were many great things about it, including:

seeing a newly shorn Nick
Greg's line, "dude, where's your car?"
the multiple flashbacks of processing the crime scene
Sarah's views of marriages and wedding ceremonies
the video of the wedding, and
especially the casting of Veronica Cartwright as the Rashomama in question! (I love watching her in anything!)

My FIL is a retired cop. He always says, whether you did anything or not, you have the right to remain silent - exercise it.

I thought it was pretty amazing that 1. The wedding video was all ready and edited teh day after the incident, including a nicely printed CD and 2. THe CSI;s would want to see cut footage and not the raw stuff.

Nice episode. My wife noticed that Nick cut his hair. She hated his other look.

Sara...no wonder she's alone and probably will always be. Some say the glass is half-full, Sara says it will fall on the ground, break into a dozen pieces, and each one will rip into your skin.

LOL!

Some people are downers. Sara is the whole freakin' mega bottle of barbiturates!

"I personally think her panty hose rebelled against her and tied themselves to the car. " :D  :D

Sara's "They did not!" during Greg's story was great too...
