I was receiving Rocketboom like clockwork and all of a sudden I haven't gotten one since 4/10. Did Tivo stop carrying it?

I've gotten a few over the past couple weeks, but it's been pretty sporatic.

I just signed up my other Tivo (540) the other day. (My 240 hasn't seen rocketboom for eons no matter how many times I sign up. )

FWIW, just this morning I noticed the 540 finally recorded its first; the 4/25 episode.

I've been getting them pretty steady lately... It does get spotty at times, though...

There was about a two week period that I didn't receive any updates.

Can someone tell me how I can unsubscribe? I didn't see it in my Season Pass.

Thanks!

I think you unsubscribe by clicking on Rocketboom in the Tivo Showcase area.

Just in case anyone is following this thread TiVoJerry said yesterday in this thread

http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=275353&page=7&pp=30

that the CSR was wrong. He also says on the next page that the have fixed a bug that was causing this problem

he didn't say the fix was out yet

TiVoJerry said
"I'm not in deep on this issue, but it is my understanding that a fix for this is being implemented. New content is expected to start arriving on affected DVRs late on Tuesday. Just make sure that the last action you performed was to sign up."

I should have read the second part of what TiVoJerry said more carefully before I mentioned it..

I did get Rocketboom for the first time in months about 3 hours after his post so I suspect at least part of the fix must be in.

My guess is someone accidentially turned off the switch for pushing broadband content when 7.2.2 released. Mine came back yesterday.

(Probably went something like this)

TiVoJerry: (to engineers) "Hey is Rocketboom dead?"
Engingeer: "hmm.. shouldn't be, AW CRAP! Ok Try again."
TiVoJerry: "whoops" (snicker)
