Sci-fi has listed 4 hours on SVU on May 4 during prime time. How is SVU sci-fi? Are these special shows in space? Maybe have a new show Galactica:SVU showing the crimes on Cylons. :p

OK, that's just weird.

Maybe they'll digitally replace one of the characters with Jar Jar Binks...

I think SciFi channel is changing their format to be ALL L&O shows, with Passions in the mornings for 3 hours. Because thats what people want.

That's not what I want. I want more cheesy sci-fi movies with big stars like Shirl Appleby and Kari Wuhrer. And sequels to those movies. Lots and lots of sequels. :D

Hey, was The Librarian on Sci-Fi or USA? Cuz The Librarian 2 is supposed to be out soon.

If they want a sci-fi crime show, they should show CSI:Miami. The odd characters, two-toned skies, and futuristic technology would make it a perfect fit.

How is SVU sci-fi?

You ever watch it?

Their blatant every other episode attempt at emmy awards are truely out-of-this-world!

I believe it was TNT.

No more L&O. USA Network is ruined because every night they have about 6 hours or more marithons of L&O. Also Bravo has it on all day on the weekends. I never liked L&O. Sci-Fi shwoing L&O. What is next a 24/7 all L&O channel.

It really just boils down to the "melting pot" theory.
it is simple, really.
scifi shows wind up on UHD, nbc shows wind up on scifi.
TV shows on internet.
these are but the first tremors in a dramatic shift of your viewing habits.
soon you will only have one channel, it will called "channel one".
there will be "network branded" "blocks", like a "rock block", only they will be called "iModules".
in the iMods, will exist "ABC" programs, in another iMod scifi programs.
in each iMod(sold separately) there will be bonus programs i.e. Law and Order in your scifi iMod.
The future will rule you.

I vaguely recall seeing some sort of press release recently saying that Sci-Fi was going to "broaden its audience". At the time they didn't say anything about totally non-genre programs like this, though.

Not that I'm surprised, mind you. Once a cable channel deliberately breaks it's niche orientation even a little, it's all downhill. Next thing you know it's home improvement and reality series on "The Learning Channel", or random action/scifi on the video-game network (G4). Etc. etc.
