Hi all,
Just curious, I've noticed that our available cable boxes we can upgrade to in our area are all missing a serial port. I'd like to avoid having to use the IR interface when changing channels in the future with one of these new comcast boxes(through our Tivo). Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I've noticed the newer cable boxes have USB ports as well, would one of those USB/Serial adaptors work/help us continue our Tivo/Comast box serial connection channel changing.
