TiVo missed one of my shows. I'm stumped.

Normally, I'm pretty good with this sort of thing and ca nfigure out why TiVo missed something I was epecting it to record. But not this time.

My TiVo somehow missed this week's episode of "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" (the Sweeden episode). I can't figure out why it was missed. It's in the guide data on Monday ( I went back and looked for it last night) , but there is no mention of it in recording history. Season Pass is NOT set to FRO.

I'm stumped. What could have happened?

One of the things I've noticed with Bourdain's show is that it's sometimes listed in the guide as "Anthony Bourdain" and sometimes as "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations". I have a season pass set for BOTH titles, so I've (so far) been able to catch them all.

Hmmm... OK.. That could be it. I'll double check the guide data (if I still can) and see how it was listed.

Have you noticed a change in the way it was between last season and this season? The SP I set was for last season. Did it as soon as I got Travel Channel on my cable system. When new episodes started to pop up, it caught them just fine. Got 'em all, until the Sweeden one. (it also has picked up some recently aired re-runs, like the Las Vegas epsisode)

I see that it IS picjing up future episodes. The New Jersey episode is being re-played. never saw it the first time around. I'm looking forward to it.

The crappy thing is that Travel Channel doesn't seem to re-air these much. Just a few times on Sunday/Monday, then that's it. If I miss it, no chance to pick it up later in the week.

I think it started out as "AB: No Reservations" and then changed later on in the first season. (It's my favorite show.)

The NJ episode is great! Springsteen and Sopranos references abound; the still pics of Bourdain as he looked in high school are worth the price of admission.

Cool. I need my snarky AB fix. Good thing TiVo will catch a re-run of "Cooks Tour" later this week. It's probably an episode I've seen, but I'll watch it anyway.
