My previous question has disappeared.
I have two SII Tivos stacked on top of each other w/ USB connections to a 802.11b Airport router; both have good to excellent signal strength. The wireless router is 20-25" away. I can see each other's folder in the What's Playing list but when I try to see the folder contents, I get a "cannot connect" dialog box. There may be a 10 second pause before the message appears.
-I have enabled/disabled/enabled transfers, etc. through my account and waited for the natural course of time for the changes to take place. Done this twice.
-I have resorted to rebooting each box, multiple times.
-I can transfer photos and have used TivoToGo to see the contents of each Tivo.
-I get updates via wireless, not phone line(s).
It's not the wireless connection issue in my view. My guess is that each Tivo times out too soon before making the connection. (I have gotten as far as the screen starting to be painted for content, I could go top to bottom with the channel but no listing ever showed up.)
This used to work in another house when the units were in separate roows.
Any clues how to fix this? thx
