I have been using a phone line on the TiVo box but I just hooked up my new TiVo branded wireless adapter so I could take advantage of those somewhat limited home network features that are available for us Mac users through TiVo Desktop for Mac. I have an Apple AirPort Extreme wireless base station which serves Earthlink DSL to several Macs in my home--and now to the TiVo. It all seemed to work at first, but within a day or so odd things started to happen. For instance, several times when I have turned on the TV the TiVo did a restart. I also got a spontaneous restart when I clicked on the Yahoo Weather icon on TiVo. The DSL stopped working last night and I spent hours on the phone with Earthlink getting everything up and running again. Does anyone know if these kind of glitches are being experienced by others? Thanks in advance for any advice.
