Tivo working fine, all the sudden cannot detect my wireless adapter?

My tivo has been working with my netgear adapter for over a year, and all the sudden I cannot make a connection with tivo because it does not detect my wireless adapter. Whats the deal? I tried just pulling it out and putting it back in but that didnt work. Thoughts?

Maybe the adapter has gone belly-up. Try it in a PC and see if it works there.

Well, I fixed the adapter problem (just reset the tivo, stupid me) but I have a new problem. I have connected to the tivo service twice now, but when I got to pick programs to record it tells me I am going to run out of program info in a few days! Even after I connect to my tivo service it gives me this message! Now what...

Wait for your TIVO to Index.. if it hasn't done it in a while.. this can take up to 8 hours.
