I was deeply annoyed on another note last night - I missed the end of Dr. Who because the BBC chose to overrrun the show by a minute. I wouldn't really be complaining but the reason I missed the end of Dr. Who was because I also have a season pass for Dr. Who Confidential on BBC Three.
How stupid is that - the BBC caused me to miss the end of one of their own main prime time shows because of a programme directly aimed at fans of that show...!
Needless to say, season pass for Dr. Who Confidential has now been canceled.

Doctor Who started late due to football over-runnig a few minutes.
A couple of times last series there was an overlap between BBC1 and BBC3 so we are recording the Sunday edition of Confidential.

Isn't this the reason why Endpad was written ?

Well yes, but the 'original' version of EndPad only added padding if nothing was being recorded directly afterwards. As it would try to record Confidential afterwards, EndPad would not have helped in this case.
Doesn't the newer version of EndPad have a negative padding option? There might be something that can be done with that.
