Series 2 DTV w/AT9 Dish

hello,

i just bought at9 dish, a zinwell 6x8 multiswitch and a hr20.

i was thinking of using both my existing phillips series 2 dtv box and the h20 on the same tv. the phillips to record and the hr20 to watch hd programming.

my question is will the series 2 be able to record all channels like it does currently? right now i have a standard oval dish (trips lnb) and standard programming.

this is just temporary until the hr20 comes out.

or should i just ditch the series 2 dtv and do a hd tivo and a h20 until the hr20 comes out?

Yes the existing receiver will work fine with the new dish.
