No Sound on analogue channels

Just got a tivo and followed the manual in setting it up with my old on-digital box and i thoguht everything was working ok until i tried my normal analogue tv channels. I get the picture but no sound, does this mean my tivo is broken or i've set something up wrong? Reason why i prfer my analogue channel;s is that the pic quality is much better than the freeview box.

Try a signal booster. I get poor reception where I am and without the booster I get a reasonable picture on all channels but no sound on several of them.
