NFL Sunday Ticket a la carte?

Does anyone know if you can subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket only on DirecTV? I know you used to be able to do this and if Congress passes the a la catre law, I'm assuming we could again - but I wasn't sure if DirecTV did this currently.

I asked D* this and was told by retention that if you didn't have it Ala carte in 2004 you couldn'r get it now :mad:

Burger King ran a promo last year that offered a free week of NFLST. You first had to buy the week for the princely sum of $40 (via DirecTV, of course), then fill out some rebate form to get a credit later on.

It's somewhat a la carte, as you can choose the week, but you apparently can't choose individual games.

The question is whether one can get Sunday Ticket without Total Choice, and the answer to that is that you used to be able to do that, but not anymore.
