My Directv tivo reciever has been acting up in the last few weeks. I get a fuzzy screen, and have to hit the side of the unit to get a better picture. I asked customer service if I can get a replacement, and they said yeah for $100.00
Any suggestions?

Try replacing the cables and using a different output from the Tivo.

You ARE joking about hitting the side of the DTivo unit, right? You do realize it has a spinning hard drive inside that doesn't like sudden shocks while running, right? :)

If your screen is fuzzy, you should consider dusting once in a while. :D
