I just bought a used sat-T60 and hooked it up and works fine except I am not able to watch one show while recording another. I have a dual LNB and I hooked both cables to the satelite in jacks however when I am watching a show and another show is sheduled tro record at the same time it pops up a message asking if I want tivo to switch to the other channel and record or to cancel the recording and continue watching the current show. do I have to have a multiswitch installed to make this work even though I only have one receiver in use or do I have somthing set wrong?

Go through guided setup and tell it you have both tuners connected. Whoever had it before you probably had it set up for a single connection.

Even when you turn it "off" the hard drive is always running. The only way to actually stop the hard drive is to unplugged the unit. Don't worry, mine has been running for about six years now. This is a great unit and maybe the best ever built.

The boxes all came out of the same Mexican TiVo factory. A few models (like the Samsung) came from Korea, but anything else is a Mexican box with a different faceplate.

It's all the same junk with a different label.
