After four months of waiting I still do not have my $150 rebate. I know they are in financial ruins but when I bought Tivo and paid for lifetime service it was predicated on a $150 rebate.
I’m not a happy Tivo customer.
If I were you, I would not expect a rebate check from Tivo.
It seems when Tivo screws up a rebate, they wait until a customer phones to begin the re-process to cut a rebate check.
Tivo Customer service is of no use. I asked about returning my unit to Costco and requested a pro-rated refund for my pre-paid “Lifetime” Service. Kelsa, the customer service investigator, was unable to cancel my service (OOPs sorry it past 30 days) or reverse the charge on my credit card.
One unhappy customer can tell millions.

P.S. Rebates suck. You have my sympathy on that.

tis a shame....maybe could have went to the theater and discussed rebates there :)
Put this thread in the "Help" forum and odds are one of the TiVo employees that frequents this board will do what they can to address it for you.
And don't fret, you'll get your rebate. And don't forget that your TiVo w/Lifetime should eventually spike in value on Ebay given the new pricing policies. You will end up making good dough if you are just patient.

I mailed in a rebate on 3/18, last night i noticed it was approved and being scheduled for mailing.
We'll see if NOREBATES comes back and provided any updates.

TiVo doesn't handle the rebates directly. Some other company does it for them. Did ya try calling the phone number listed on the rebate form anytime during the last 4 months?
It's pretty cool that a company in financial ruins can be putting out a 2 tuner series2 and a series3 sometime this year.

NOREBATE, if you'd like to do more than just post the same gripe twice, and actually try to get your rebate, you would do well to do a little more searching and less griping (you catch more flies with honey). What you'll find are some various posts with tips on how to deal with the rebate house (which is not TiVo btw), and the fact that there are some TiVo employees who post on this board and help people with rebates. Often it just takes a PM to help get things settled.

I have contacted everybody at Tivo regarding the rebate:
The rebate center (8 times) They have supposedly cut 2 checks. One for Zero dollars.
Customer service (4 times)
Customer service investigations (Once)
I was attempting to start a new board and not meet anybody for coffee.
I have too much tv to get caught up on to bother with people. LOL

I got my rebate last week, approximately 3 and a half months after submitting it and approximately 3 weeks after it was supposedly sent. I was not worried for a moment.
