No 30 second skip since 7.22 update?!

After I got the 7.22 update I tried to re-enable the unsupported 30 second skip by pressing Select Play Select 3 0 Select. However, it doesn't seem to work any more. Has this been removed from the TiVo software? I have an unmodified TDC540040.

It's still there. Be sure that you're watching a recording when entering the commands. Also, enter the commands at about the same pace as it takes to say them ....

I did enter the while watching a recording. I tried several times at different speeds and nothing worked. Are you sure that it wasn't removed?

It has not been removed. Try again, slowly. After each button press, wait for the sound effect.

Try putting an extra "Play" at the beginning.
I couldn't get the sps30s to work till I tried psps30s,
this was on the 7.2.1 software, I haven't had a desire to reactivate it since the 7.2.2 reboot.

I stupidly was forgetting to point it at the Tivo when I was trying to set it up the other day. :D

Had it in my head I was teaching the remote how to do it, not the Tivo itself.

Besides, if Tivo ever removes this backdoor, I'm sure there will be multiple threads with hundreds of posts in the first five minutes after the software hits a Tivo somewhere ... ;)
