Ok, so there are three shows I want to watch, all on the same change, at 8, 8.30 and 9. I don't care what order I watch them in, but I won't be able to start watching tv until sometime between 815 and 845 (depending on my 2 year old).

I don't care what order I watch the shows in. Whats the best way to do this? I have season passes for all three, but if I start at watching at 815, i'm not sure if that will cause a problem at 830 when its time fore the second show to start. Or should I just record manually for from 8 through 930, and i can start at the beginning whenever I can sit down.

I have a connected to the cable box, no splitter, and no other equipment.

As long as all 3 are scheduled to record, you're all set. When you get home (or are ready to watch) at 8:15, just start the 8:00 show. Go to your Now Playing List (NPL) and select the show and select play. You can fastforward through any commercials and probably be done by about 8:40 or so. Then go to your NPL again and select the next program which will be recording and select Play. You can fast forward through commercials and such. You'll probably catch up to realtime before this one's done. At that point, you just watch the rest of the programs live and you're all set.

When you watch a recording (even one that is not finished recording), it has no effect whatsoever on what will be recorded in the future (even five minutes in the future). Shows that are listed in the To Do List are what will be recorded unless someone in your household cancels a recording.
