Sorry, Another Lifetime Question

We bought our standalone Series 2 Tivo about 6 months ago and have been paying $12.95 per month since then. As of today, are we still able to switch to a lifetime on this machine if it's before the 15th or does that not apply to us?

If so, I want to do it because I don't care about dual tuner or HDTV and I hate monthly fees...the problem is that when I went to Tivo.com and looked at their pricing plans nowhere did it mention lifetime so I am not sure if it applies to us or not.

In short, you should able to but you have to call TiVo. You can't do it via their web site anymore.

I'm not surprised that Robbins didn't know the answer. There's was WAY too much chatter on the subject to be able to keep up with.

Thank you cwerdna, I appreciate the response and yes, you are correct, there is way too much info in those threads...I did read them all but there is information, conflicting information in them, different dates, situations, etc. It's crazy.
