When was the last HD tivo made?

Are these things being produced new today or is the population of new units out there already and what's in stock now is our only chance a a new one?

They are no longer being manufactured, but I couldn't tell you when production stopped.

Ok so my theory about getting one as cheap/soon as possible so that I can guarantee myself a new one before they are all grabbed up (vs ebay etc) is a good theory.

of course some would say i'm nuts since i'm 'futureproofing' by buying old technology but hey, i love my 1st unit and am tired of deciding which programs to watch in HD vs on the T60. And (knocking on wood) if the original goes out and they send me a mpeg4 as a replacement, at least i'd have one 'good one' :)

boy do i wish i jumped last fall when they were giving out the 2nd ones pretty cheap also :)
