Last weekend (before i removed my 5x8 powered terk), i had various problems with one OTA tuner completely out...then just a single transponder out...then another xponder out... then everything came back perfectly during the day.... You get the drift.
well since taking out the M/S, I've had no problems except fox 29 in philly (42 UHF) shows up as 27-5 in the signal test. Functionally, yes, everything''s ok but it has me a bit worried after all these reboots wont clear it up.
I just wonder where the channel number on the OTA signal meter comes from exactly and why would it be wrong when i'm getting in the correct station. The only channel 27 in this area is the complete opposite direction than philly and is farther away from me. Plus if i was getting in that channel 27, (obviously i'm not) wouldn't i actually be viewing that channel 27 instead of philly 29?
I just hate problems like this...all other OTA reports the correct channel on the signal meter.
