Morning all,

I upgraded my TIVO (UK) about 2 years ago and I thought I'd pop back to see what I've missed!

Firstly, I can't remember how to change my IP Address. I can access the machine via port80 but I just need to change the IP Address to a new range after a network rejig.

Also, is the re any news on bigger drives? Currently got a 120GB.

I'll be browsing the forums all day I'm sure but any pointers greatly appreciated.

Welcome back :)

To change the IP address, just run nic_config_tivo from the bash prompt.

The biggest single drive upgrade is currently 500gb (613 hours) and the biggest twin-drive is 800gb (2x 400gb) :D:D. Both work just fine but require the LBA48 kernel installed, a bigger swapfile and (optionally) a Cachecard with RAM fitted to stop them slowing to a crawl as they fill up!
