No Mo Tivo

After getting a new plasma TV and seeing how bad the picture quality was with Tivo. I called my local cable company and received without cost ($10.00 per month) a HD DVR.

I was shocked first as well.
Then I tweaked the factory set plasma settings, and got quite an acceptable picture.
Then I traded in the Digital Cable box for a HD Cablebox-non-dvr(which Svideos out to Tivo), and got an even better picture.

'course it ain't HD quality...but not bad. I stopped downloading "Lost", converting to MPG to watch on Tivo, since the Tivo-recorded "Lost" episodes are pretty good now from the HD-cable box (network HD channels)
