Wouldn't it be great if TIVO could display all your season passes for the current week in grid format ? It would give a quick way to see what will be recorded this week and it could show conflicts in red.
I have a few season passes that always conflict. Sometimes I would like to change which show TIVO records during these conflicts -- without having to go and change the priority of the season pass. If there was a grid display, I could just highlight the show that isn't going to be recorded and force it to be recorded.
Has anyone else ever suggested anything like this ?

Or if Tivo supplied the API's that could poll ToDo, Season Pass and other information, then this is something the 3rd Party/User base could do on their own.
Possibly a nifty HME app that would display such a thing.

It would also be nice if the Tivo grid would indicate which shows are scheduled to be recorded, either with a different color background or a red circle or something.

i am so for this one, also make the grid show a larger time range and quicker to navigate...but really, how hard would a red circle or background be to add?

You should patent this. Then TiVo will have to license it.
Grid Style TDL =  for me
Either (or both) of those suggestions would be a hit in my household.

I love this idea. This is one area where the Comcast/Motorola DVR beats Tivo hands down. Their To-do list shows the conflicts right below the shows to be recorded.
With a single tuner, Tivo is going to have a lot more conflicts, but it would be nice to be able to toggle these on/off in the To-do list.

Yep - I liked that feature with CV dvr - especially the red highlight/ grid form view.

Many people have asked for the ToDo list to be added to the XML output. Instead, Tivo spends it's time implementing the Yahoo apps crap.

I don't know. Why don't you wonder over to 'TiVo suggestion avenue' where suggestions like this are supposed to be posted and take a look for your self?

Right after I posted this, I thought about that. Then I wondered how long it would take for someone on the post police squad to harp on it... Almost 3 days..
I wonder how many of your 1911 posts have been a waste of time like this one was... wait, I know what you'll say... I'll go search for it myself.

Lighten up Mick. Nobody reads the Suggestion forum, so it's pointless to post there.

How is recommending that you search the suggestion forum for information you asked about a suggestion a waste of time?

And just why don't people read 'suggestion avenue'? Could it be because people have very little interest in reading about other people's suggestions?
