ok, i have 43 episodes of it. 1 is coming up that i don't have. i'm in the process of burning all of them to dvd
this show is so good. i've litterally learned everything about airlines from this show. it's centered around southwest airlines. sometimes i'm watching it and i shout out loud at the idiots that they have to deal with.
awesome show!
i like intervention too. it's great to see the outcome of someone when it turns out good. a couple of the shows had follow ups after a year, somewhat shocking. it really keeps you glued to the tv and will jerk a tear on occasion.
family plots, this is my newest season pass. i guess most of a family owns a funeral palor. i just saw maybe 30 mins of one show and was hooked.
speaking of shows on A&E, inked is good, but needs more episodes. also, i missed the unaired pilot episode
dog bounty hunter was ok, but got old quickly. first 48 looked good, but kinda turned into a snoozer for me. i have no interest in roller girls
comments anyone?

comments anyone?Try decaf. :)
Airline was great for a season, but got old REALLY fast. Same ***** every week. Somebody's drunk, somebody's late, somebody's mad... Blah, blah, blah.
Never saw inked. Tattoo culture does nothin' for me, which is odd since I ride a motorcycle and those worlds seem to be quite intertwined.
Also never saw Family Plots or Intervention. With the exception of Airline, A&E has been off my radar since they cancelled the excellent "100 Centre Street" about 5 years ago. Not holding a grudge, just not really interested in any of their offerings of late.
Saw 1/2 episode of Roller Girls, then realized a.) It's not a real sport and b.) The "girls" aren't even hot.

A&E has a new show called king of cars...i don't really understand the concept from the commercial though.

I enjoy the stuff on A&E, always have. Intervention is one of my favorites, although lately, while I love the success stories, I just kind of wish they'd show one or two more failures. It happens. It's the reality.
They've shown a couple of failures-I wish they'd follow up on them, as well as the successes.

As a frequent traveller I love to watch Airline as it is so true to life - the frustrations of travel. It does give me renewed respect for the people who work on behind the counter though. :)
LOVE Intervention. I watch each one and have made sure my teenage kids have seen enough of them to know what happens when you make bad choices! I'm staggered by how low these people go and how badly the drugs screw up your life. It's an eye opener. Heartened by the success shown in the rehab programs and seeing some of the folks getting thier lives back. Also interesting to see that even for the worst cases, in their lowest points, they know they need help and want it, they just don't know how to do it alone.
With the ever increasing reach of Meth addicition getting to epidemic proportions, this show should be more widely circulated so more action can be taken by local politicians, activists etc.
Great Show.
Two more thoughts:
a) A high proportion of these addicts have had a lousy childhood - parents divorced or one parent has abandoned them, often sexually abused when young, siblings killed in car accidents etc. Could be seen as "excuses" by some, but there are too many for that to be the case in my view.
b) It would be somewhat of a public service if as many people who saw shows like "Deal or no Deal" saw shows like Intevention. I'm sure it would spur more understanding and change at the grass roots level.

According to Futon Critic, Airline is canceled. Guess they ran out of drunks to show each week?

What happened to Family Plots? It's not coming up on my list - I like that show too. I still get Interventions, but no more Airlines.

Futon Critic says "completed airing its second season of 26 episodes on 8/21/05; has yet to be renewed for a third season".

I watched Airline for a while but had to stop, got tired of seeing so many idiots. It did illustrate well why I never fly Southwest though. Too large a percentage of hicks who've never flown before ( or apparently seen anyone fly on TV ). By showing an airline that competes purely on price they got too much of an overlap with your typical Jerry Springer audience.

I often wondered why Southwest particpated in that show. It wasn't only the hicks flying that was the problem - it was the rude and condescending Southwest staff. The show definitely didn't make Southwest look good.

(i know, i have a double copy of american casino. i just deleted the extra one)
i love king of cars now too. i think i have 5 episodes.
i have 5 episodes of family plots, awesome show.
i got a bunch of interventions also
I finally finished watching the last Airline episode that had been sitting on my TiVo for months last week. It was a good show, but as with most "reality" shows, it started to get old. Seemed like the same people fussing over missing flights, trying to fly drunk, etc. I don't really agree with JaP that it only made SW look bad. Occasionally it did, but it also showed them in a very good light at times too. And I guess that's basically the reality of the situation.

oh, theres another episode coming up that i don't have:
"That's Entertainment!" - American Idol contestant William Hung sings; employees dress up for a Spirit party; pop star Madonna's costumes go missing; rock fans try to convince airline employees that they are with a band.
so, how many episodes total?!? i'll have 47...
