recording problem

recently, i have recorded sporting events and added extra time because of overruns. several times the hr10-250 stopped recording at the original stopping time rather than the additional time i requested. anyone else having this problem

Did you double check that the recording had indeed been padded? I usually go back into the season pass or recording schedule and check that it has.

Is it possible that you are setting the padding but not finishing the procedure? It's easy to think you have added the extra time, but not hit "Record with these options" or whatever it says at the top. It's not enough to simply go back or it will reset to the original settings.
