I notice that the Masters broadcasts on Universal HD Thursday and Friday at 1pm PDT are listed as "Live."
Broadcasts at the same time on CBS West Digital (KCBS2 in LA) are listed as delayed.
Do you think these might possibly be two different broadcasts? More likely one is just wrong.
(There is no HD broadcast from my local S.F. CBS station or on CBS East until the weekend.)

I'm thinking the second one is correct, because I live in the augusta, ga area and our cbs local affiliate shows the masters live in hd (as they have for 5 years now) on their digital channel 31.1 all 4 days (thursday through sunday) starting about 1pm through until about 6pm or so. So I'm guessing 1pm west coast would be tape delay.

Gee, you get 5 hours? Do they use the same announcers?

Daytime play wouldn't be tape delayed, no reason for it.
The 25 minute "update show" right before Letterman is usually tape delayed highlights from play earlier in the day though, and not in HD.
I'd bet the guide info is wrong for the KCBS2 coverage.

Go to hdsportsguide website which has an article which explains what is going on with the Masters in HD. It is understandable to see why people are confused.
