Successful networking with Humax

I have a Humax DRT 400 DVD unit - running 7.2.1 Tivo s/w -

from Buy Extras Internet store last Friday - got it today.

Plugged it in to my home network, Tivo self-configured and runs like a champ.
Took all of 5 minutes to complete.

No requirement to upgrade to 7.2.2 beta software, even self-selected the network node - more than pleased.

Have also tested with Tivo desktop software and transferred a file - perfect.

Congrats, I bought an adapter and Router to network mine on a clerance shelf. Didn't get as good a deal but still was under $50.00. After some trial and error hooking up the router correctly I am going good. The only think I can't do is transfer cause I'm on a Mac. :(

Hopefully that will be coming soon.

My wife is walking on the treadmill as I write listening to music from the computer. :)
