Hey Guys,
My HR10 is about 16 months old. It is all original. No mods, no tweaks. It has performed as expected and is used quite heavily.
This morning when I turned on the TV the screen was frozen, with a 1/2 full recording bar showing.
I tried everything on the remote, but got no response.
I finally unplugged the unit. I plugged it back it and nothing happened. The vent fan in the back was blowing, but no noise from the TIVO, and not a single light turned on on the front of the unit.
I unplugged and plugged it back in several times with no response.
I unplugged it for an hour and still nothing. I unplugged it one more time, and this time when I plugged it in the Powering Up screen showed up and several minutes later the TIVO is running just fine again.
If this was a Drive issue, when I plugged the unit back in I should have gotten the Power LED to light up on the front, and something on the screen.... Shouldn't I ?
Any thoughts guys... Should I pick up a new unit, pick up a new drive, or just keep the fingers crossed ?
Thank you
Dave
