3 of the last 4 days I have experienced a reboot on my hr10-25 at the same time each night. I know others have had problems in the past but this is strange. My other unit, which was not recording did not reboot. Any idea on what is causing this?

Is there a recording at the time of reboot? You might have a failing hard drive but I would try a Clear and Delete Everything before that conclusion.

Yes, I am always recording and watching at the time. I always record OTA.
Thanks

If it's really at the same time, you should explore environmental factors. Also, if you don't have it on a UPS, you should.
Things like fluctuating power can cause problems for any computer device, of which the Tivo is one. Turning something big on the same circuit could cause this, a big EM device, many things.
Again, if it's really the same time each night, it's likely environmental.

Interesting because mine does this every night around the 10 pm frame give or take 30 minutes maybe I will get a UPS and try it.
Here is another thought I was at Radio Shack today and thought it could be the receiver downloading new information as it seems to happen around the same time every night. I went in and changed phone #'s just for the hell of it.
If the info is coming through the phone line then I will try disconnecting that but if it is through the dish not sure what can be done.
I thought this was interesting as it seems there is a bunch of us having trouble. I also wonder if it is case all our boxes are dying at the same time as mine is about 21 months old right now and may no make it to its 2nd birthday.
