No.
Couldn't you use the RF (channel 3/4, No S-Video or composite inputs on the Tivo)) out from the D* receiver to the analog RF in (OTA) on the Series 3 and record that channel? The Series 3 can't control the D* (No IR Blaster or serial connection support to change channels on an external device) so it really isn't practical. You would have to set up manual recordings on the Tivo and already have the D* on the correct channel because there is no IR blaster or serial support on the TIVO.That kind of defeats the purpose of a tivo.

I guess that really means No!

You can also stand on your head and whistle dixie if you want to, but there isn't much point to it...

No.But the NEW Series 2 DT might work with a DirecTV Receiver or Receivers, and there is a possibility that has dual tuners, but not enough solid information has been released to know what its capabilities are. See the TiVo Coffee House (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=3) forum for a discussion of its capabilities.
