Buying HR 10 today

Will I have any trouble connecting and getting D* and Tivo service if I buy a unit today? I found one cheap at a CC and want to pick up an extra. Is D* still supporting new connections.

I think I meant to say "R10" . I am trying to buy the SD DirecTV Tivo.

Shouldn't be any problem at all. I have three in use, and have picked up another three, which are on the shelf in the garage, as standbys in case any of the other three go bad. I have zero interest in the new R15, and I figger these guys will last until Hidef Tivo becomes the next logical step up.
