Showcases: no longer shows Starz

I used to be able to go to Showcases from the DirectTV menu and select Starz SuperPak (or something like that) and it would show me which movies were coming on for the week...it no longer shows up.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Probably because Starz hasn't paid DirecTV to put anything in the Showcases.

I remember they used to have this option along with 'Starz on Demand'. You had to sign up for the 'on demand' service, which of course was free. Both ended last summer, they exact date I do not remember.

Silly to end it...it was a very easy way to see which movies were coming on.

Starz hasn't been on for at least a couple of months now. The Showcases from at least January seemed more interested in Infomercials and the Olympics. Now that the Olympics are over, I only have a couple of infomercial type links.

That's true....might as well remove the Showcases function seeing that they usually contain junk anyway.

My lovely wife is not too happy with the showcases being essentially shut down. Now we have to watch some of the commercials because the "new" shows are previewed that way. That is what I think has led to the deletion of content in the showcases. Makes we Tivoers watch commercials. YUCK.
