Hi,
Monday night I was out of town and I had my season pass set to record Late Show with David Letterman. When I returned I checked my "Now Playing List" and noticed that the 3/27 show was not recorded due to "show appeared in the previously recorded now playing list or a duplicate show in the now playing list". Did anyone else not have the 3/27 Late Show not record?
Anyway, I an now in need of a VHS or DVD copy of the Monday 3/27 David Letterman Show. If anyone has the show I can pay for shipping and materials.
Thanks
Joe

I don't know for sure, but maybe they actually didn't have a new show. I seem to recall that this past weekend, one of Lettermans racing drivers died in a crash.

On Monday's show Dave talked about that crash and offered his condolences to the family of the driver who died.
His eyes teared up and his voice cracked and wavered. You could tell he was really broken up about it.
This of course demonstrates that it was a new show.
So, it's weird that it didn't record. My season pass picked it up normally.

That was so painful to watch...he clearly was VERY VERY upset about it, which of course is understandable. His poor hands were shaking.
My season pass picked it up too, obviously. As did my ReplayTV, for backup!

It appears a few people have had this issue recently with something not recording because of the Tivo thinking it was not to record because of the 28 day rule. I saw it on ER a few weeks back. I have two "hacked" (DSR7000 and Hughes SVR40) tivo's one recorded it fine and one didn't. The one that didn't said it didn't because of the 28 day rule. My one unhacked (R10) unit recorded fine. So I don't think it has anything to do with it being a hacked unit or not. Just an odd thing a few people have seen
