DRT 800 Transfers SLOOOOOOW!

My DRT 800 with 7.2.2 and a Netgear FA120 USB 2 wired adapter is very slow. a 15 minute high quality show transfers to my computer at 2 X's the time of the video i.e. 30 minutes shows take about an hour. Is this normal?

My SA Series 2 80 hr TiVo will do it in about 5 minutes.

get the tivo branded wireless adapter on tivo.vom $49.99 but coming soon to other vendors for $39.99 on amazon and othert web sellers. this sped things up alot for me. it is out of stock right now but will be in again soon.

Do you think the TiVo branded adapter would be able to transfer a basic quality show between TiVos in real time?

I have a wired D-LINK adapter and I too noticed a HUGE decrease in show transfers with the update to 7.2.2 software.

It was much better before.

Well it looks like that may be the problem (7.2.2) There's no way wireless is going to be faster than wire. My SA works very quick with the adapter. No reason to think this one woukldn't work just as well.

Is there a way to get TiVo to look into this issue?
