I'm a newbie to DVR and this forum, so please bear with me if this is a stupid question.
According to the user guide description of the Live Buffer (p. 21), "If you start watching a progarm late, even if it is not set to record, you can back up to the beginning (up to 90 minutes) using REWIND, as long as you haven't changed channels since the program started."
I read this to mean, for example, that if I get home from work late (say at 8:15 pm), turn on the TV and start watching a game (which started at say 8:00 pm)that I want to see from the beginning, then I can rewind to the beginning (8:00 pm), even if I had not previously set the DVR to record the game.
Am I correct, and if so, then how do I make that work? I've only been able to rewind the live buffer to the point where I started watching that channel.
Thanks in advance.
