HELP...no channel changing setting

just got my tivo...and there is no settings/channels/channel chaning ....setting how else am i suposed to get this #@% thing working?

What have you tried so far? The Tivo should walk you through its "Guided Setup" steps when you first apply power. Is this a brand new Tivo, or did you buy it used? If it's used, then repeat Guided Setup from the Setup Menu.

actually it was easier than I thought... I was trying to use a compisite input to an s-video output..wich doesnt match so there was no video. so today i bought a s-video cable pluged it in..and tada!!! It continued setup once it senced a video source and the ir works flawlessly. (wich i was kind of surprised after reading about the boosters and tents and yada yada.
