channel setup

i just set up my tivo, i bought the whole pkg they said so it came to me activated, it ran through a series of test regarding channels, etc,etc. I have hotwire cable which uses dish network boxes, only the tivo only recognizes channels up to 29 when I have a whole lot more. Does anyone know how I fix this?

I suspect that you need to re-run guided setup to select which box is being used. Check this thread http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128743 for the Dish receiver you have to see what remote codes you need to use. Where did you buy this package?
